We are three backpacking RTW for 14months, so if you are a package tourist looking for daily housekeeping, in-room foie gras breakfast and infinity pool all for $5/night, look elsewhere. Also, welcome to Cambodia, tuk-tuk touts are everywhere, so politely decline and go about your way. That being said, this guesthouse was a welcome reprieve from the hard mattresses, bedbug infested excuses for guesthouses we have had the pleasure of along the way. The staff wasn't incredibly smily and perky, but they were helpful, the Internet is fast and connection speed is great (go to the top balcony and log into #2). We stayed in room 114, which had incredibly comfortable foam mattresses, a large ceiling fan, TV and refrigerator. The bathroom was spotless. They offered free water bottles for each guest, as well as shampoo and toothbrushes. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Pub Street, and is incredibly quiet, we had no street noise in 114. Breakfast was included in our tariff, and it was awesome. Two fried eggs, coffee/tea, baguette, butter and jam. Again, not the Four Seasons Siem Reap, but it was $5/pppn! I would recommend this property hands down, it made our stay in Siem Reap much more comfortable! Stayed July 2012, traveled with friends

Dear Mr Meng, Just arrived home 4 hours ago, as we stayed for one more night in Bangkok. Yes, we liked very much all your services, Ta Som Guest house was excellent and all your personnel the same. The only less nice are the 6 hours by bus stopping a lot of times between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, but for sure will get better when the new road is ready. Be sure I will recommend you and your services. Our best greetings for you and your personnel. SILVIA / SAUL RAMALHO

Dear Meng, Thanks for your warm greetings. I enjoyed my days in Cambodia especially when I was in Angkorwat. I would like to thank you to you too for your great service and arrangement. Will contact you again for sure if I come to cambodia. Regards, Frans

I want to thank you for the wonderful experience of using Capitol Tours. The car drivers and tour guide and office personnel were excellent: courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I left my hearing aide at the hotel. The car driver promptly went to the hotel in Siem Reap, found my hearing aid and sent it to the tour office in Phnom Penh. I was able to pick it up there the next morning before returning to Ho Chi Minh city. Again thanks. I certainly will use Capitol Tours again! Dan Kelley, Ho Chi Minh City

Hello! The trip was really nice; all the transissions worked well and it was interesting. To give some feedback we were sometimes a bit confused during the bus trip from Phon penh to Siem Reap since the destination was not visible in the front window of the bus. It would have made us more sure about which bus was ours. Also the time for the breaks during the bus tour was not announced so it was hard to know whether we had time or not to for example eat lunch. We appreciate that the tour was well organized. Kind regards Hanne
